I guess it really all depends on what "you" want to do with your page. I'm assuming that you are not familiar with page design. Most of it is done in CSS code, but their are simple ways that the ning platform allows. I'd say you should probably check this little tutorial out first. If you're ready for a little more advanced tinkering then you can start by reading some of our pages here. We also have a little help discussion you might want to read. To get some good ideas, or even to lift some our NewTypeZone designs banners and designs for you page you can check out ArtofAnime group. Ning also allows open source application programs to be used. Things like music players and other applications called widgets.
