Gakuen Heaven
Based on the popular video game, this anime series follows the misadventures of the students at the prestigious Bell Liberty Academy for Boys. This hit Japanese anime series based on the manga by Tite Kubo follows the adventures of spirit-seeing teen superhero Ichigo Kurosaki as he and his supernatural sidekick, Rukia Kuchiki, round up lost souls. Ichigo first inherits his powers from a wounded Rukia, who is in fact a shinigami, or soul reaper. Forced to live temporarily in an artificial human body, Rukia must combine her otherworldly abilities with Ichigo's.

Requiem from the Darkness

- I can handly most anything but I really like most action animes (not into the robots that much) e.g. Gantz, a bit of Yaoi e.g Blaze of Mirage, comedy e.g. god save the king and a bit dark e.g. Req. from the darkness. Older characters. drama, supernatural and historical e.g.Samurai Deeper Kyo.
- Share with everyone the first anime that you've seen.
- Ok! This may show my age or most likely how late in the game I was (must have been reruns), but, the first anime that I recall was Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. Because to my child-like mind I could not get over the fact that he had an eagle for a helmet! (well I was looking through the eyes of a 4 year old).
I know . . . But, he is the one who stole my woman.

The collections ongoing....I think we may be starting another volume soon seeing as we've already had over 100 posts. It can be distracting. I too have meandered onto the website to scroll through the photos and comments. And those comments--they're are days I have to really hold the laughter in....D._'s comments especially. Angela said… - haha...I'm actually quite lucky in that I don't work. I've got three kids at home so I do the domestic goddess thing. Still, it's hard to appropriate time accordingly cause I do have a lot of things to occupy it. When I was watching Itzunara na Kiss, I was actually up at 4:00 am watching. But I couldn't help it, it was so good. I think this place has something to do with it too. Everyone is so knowledgeable, I want to be able to take my place among them, haha. Then again, it could just be my obsessive compulsiveness kicking in....

I am loads better than I was a week ago. I'm still a bit sick but at least now I take a breath w/o coughing up a lung. LOL!
I saw the link about the movie but honestly, I rarely go to the movies anymore. I seem to always have bad luck -- in meaning I typically find the seat next to gal that won't shut up. So -- I forked over the cash and bought a nice flat screen. I'm now saving up for a blu ray player and bose surround sound. That is my dream...pathetic, right?
