I have heard that there are some downgrades on the newest PS3, but I don't think it had anything to do with the hardware. Basically the software "lacks backward support for PS2 games". For more here are the specs on the PS3 Slim 120GB.
yesterday
The PS3, in my opinion, is the better platform, as the Xbox 360 tends to be a lot harder on its gaming discs. For instance, when I went to pick up my copy of Assassin's Creed 2 at Gamestop, the employee asked if I wanted insurance on the disc for ...

This review just brought me one step closer to buying a gaming console this black Friday. Ahhh! So if I were to buy one, which one should I buy, PS3 or 360? I'm leaning towards the PS3 just because of the Blu-ray and it's Netflix connectivity now.

I still have some pics from the original Magna Carta. The girls were hot as hell but unfortunately I never played it. What I do know is that it is a South Korean made video game. I not sure about part two but I'm guessing it's the same. Now Final ...

How did you find us?
I saw Clovous's badge over on Netflix. She said it was an awesome place to check out so here I am.
What are your tastes in Japanese Anime?
I just recently started watching anime, and I've found that I pretty much enjoy a little bit of everything. I am a bit partial to vampires though, so Blood+ and Vampire Knight are right at the top of my list. I'm looking forward to a lot of great suggestions.
Share with everyone the first anime that you've seen.
I think the first anime that I ever saw was Escaflowne. I really liked it, but still didn't start watching anime more religiously until about eight months ago. I know I won't be as well versed as some people on the subject, but I'm dedicating a lot of my time and effort into quickly remedying that.

I am soooo excited about my package!!! I can't wait. And just you wait till I send your stuff back! I've got lots of new stuff to send you...manga and anime! I'll make sure to inclue the rest of Ranma 1/2...I wasn't sure if you were gonna like it. But I didn't even think about your daughter liking it.

Kimi no Todoke is AWESOME!!! I love the sweet slice of life/romance and this series is it!!! Definitely make time to watch this one. The best way I can describe it is that it makes me feel like I just had a giant hug...make sense???

As for being able to split yourself...tell me how if you figure out how to do that one. I could definitely do with two of me sometimes...LOL!

Yeah...the last few episodes of Kamichu were the best. Saiunkoku gets way better. When you finish the first season, I'll mail you my imported version of the second season. I loved that series so much...mostly b/c there was substance and bishies. LOL! I finally caught up on NF's D. Grayman! I've had the disks for a week now but I never made time to watch it. I felt so bad! Like I was wasting money...go figure. But it was sooo good...things are really getting interesting. I wish I could get into gaming...I've tried but I don't think I'm doing it properly. The only games I've played were on friend's consoles...but it was like Call of Duty, etc. I'm not much into that kind of war fare. I did see 2012 at the theaters today. I loved the special effects...but there really no substance. But that's too be expected. Not bad overall...but I don't think I would have liked watching it at home. It's more a movie experience. What about you? Have you seen any good movies lately? I've got the Ugly Truth at home...I'm hoping to watch it tomorrow night. Anyhoo...I'm off to slumblerland...hope you had a great weekend!!!

Yay!!! I'm so glad you're back online!!! I'm glad to hear your laptop didn't have to be replaced. It's most def difficult transferring everything over. I equate it with buying a new car...something I want to do rarely.

I'm uber excited about the package you'll be mailing! New manga!!! I've got the stuff I'm gonna send you in a pile. There will be movies and books...plenty to keep you busy for a couple of weeks! LOL!

Sorry to hear about your laptop! That really sucks when computers go out of commission! My computer was "out" at work today all day and that really sucked so I can only imagine 2 weeks!! I will take cute pictures anytime :) to add to my growing albums.
Halloween was pretty good. Relaxing, since I ended up staying home and playing catch up on some things. How was your Halloween? Did you have a lot of trick-o-treaters? We had practically none, but I blame that on the cold since it was really cold that night down here too!

I just saw your picture on here of Ren and Kyoko! I love Skip Beat!

I found the RSS feed on MAL. Though by the looks of it mine might be a bit "messed up" because it is listing some shows more then once with different episodes.....oh well its something.

I didn't realize that was from KHR - I have only seen the first 2 episodes though so maybe thats why it didn't look familiar. I have been watching Kuroshitsuji instead LOL

Your Halloween sounds like it is going to be really fun. I really like it when people go all out like that and really get into Halloween and how fun it is! We don't get tons of trick or treaters where I live unfortunately.

Oh yeah almost forgot Miracle Train! I've seen the first 3 episodes of that on CR too. LOL!

Hey! I'm doing pretty good, been trying to catch up on some reading and watching, dealing with stupid banks and direct deposit - fun stuff like that! How about you? How have you been lately? Have anything fun planned for Halloween?
I started watching some of the new shows for this season: first 2 episodes of 11 Eyes (without the fan service it would be a great show), first 2 episodes of Kimi ni Todoke (love it! I really like the manga too which is what made me excited to watch this one), first 2 episodes of Kuroshitsuji (I really like this one, and Sebastian is icing on the cake!). I was also watching and was able to finish both Itazura na Kiss (anime) and the first season of the Taiwanese drama adaptation of Itazura called It Started with a Kiss. The anime was my favorite of the two. But as a whole I really like the story. I have also been adding in episodes of Nabari No Ou and Figure 17 - so I totally agree with you that I would be lost without MAL! :)

Hey how did you get your MAL list on here? I was trying to find some way to add a section or blog for "what I'm reading/watching"?

What is KHR? (Below picture) :)

Too funny! Ryan shook up your day by being home. Hopefully he'll be able to come home more often to make it feel more normal. Tell Beth I said hello too!

Yup--the new job's going pretty well...almost too well. I'm such a pessimist at heart...I keep waiting for the "other shoe to drop". You know???? I figure I'll just enjoy the ride and hope the bumps aren't too bad.

Wow~you jumped ahead on Nana! That must mean you really like it. I'm glad...I'll probably wait for the NF release. I've been pretty patient and busy. My anime and manga reading habits have really fallen behind. I did discover a new series called Eyeshield 21...a sports series about football. If you ever wanted to get Ryan into anime, then he might like this one. I've never been a big follower of football but I actually like this series...go figure! I'm not sure you would like it...I don't know if you're really into the sports genre or not.

I did just finish ep three of Kimi no Todoke...it's sooooo goood! I love it! Such a sweet romance that puts a big smile on my face when I watch it. It's definitely the breakout series for me this season.

Oh! I did watch Paranormal Activity last weekend....finally! It was pretty good! I loved how realistic it looked...when I say realistic, I mean the feelings you get when something spooky happens when you're home alone. If you've ever had anything "weird" like that happen, then you'll be able to identify with the movie. It's definitely the sleeper hit for this year! I'm really looking forward to watching The Vampire's Assistant this Friday....I think my sister and I are gonna watch it Friday after work. I'll be sure to report back ASAP! LOL!

Anyways...I'm hitting the sack. The new job has me getting up at five in the morning to beat the traffic. Pleasant Dreams!!!

Wow! Look at you on a serious roll!!! You've finished a bunch of series this week--kudos! LOL!

As for my new job, I'm loving my work schedule...believe it or not. I get every other Friday off and this was my Friday. Woot! The new job is pretty awesome. Lots and lots of training and testing. It's really exciting and soooo different than what I'm used to. Everyone's so nice and patient with me...I can't wait to sink my teeth into the work.

So how's life been treating youi? How's the redecorating going?

"Sasuke" Ninja Warrior

I don't know if anyone else has seen this show, but I just caught it for the first time on Friday on G4, and after the first episode, I was officially addicted. They were running a marathon all weekend, and I literally did nothing else. The show is a test of pure physical endurance and strength, pitting contestants against 4 progressively harder physical trials in hopes of being crowned Ninja Warrior. At first I was just fascinated to watch these extraordinary people put themselves through these… Continue

Collectibles anyone??

Since I'm new to the anime/manga genre, I haven't delved too far into the statues and collectibles yet, but I know I'll get there since I've already begun accumulating video game figurines and action figures. I only started about a year ago, but I've managed to acquire a few priceless (to me anyway) items that are displayed proudly in my home. I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan, and have snatched up action figures of Kadaj, Reno, and Sephiroth from Advent Children, as well as Balthier and Judge Gabran… Continue
