Fabula Nova Crystallis

Fabula Nova Crystallis is Square-Enix's latest compilation project following the commercial success of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation and Ivalice Alliance titles. Square-Enix announced the Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation at E3 2006 along with Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII. The project is predicted to cost 100 billion yen, double the cost of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation. This increase in development costs is caused by the move to next generation consoles like the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Square-Enix has confirmed that although none of the titles will have relating storylines, they will share the same crystal mythology. Square-Enix has described the plot as all the games taking places in the same universe but being based on seperate worlds (metaphorically obviously). They've also stated that the Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation is expected to span over many years. Although only three titles have been announced to date, others are planned to be released.

All I have to say is Wow!!! That looks Amazing. Final Fantasy XIII just might make me have to finally go out and buy a PS3. Maybe not though, because I'm thinking if I did I might not ever come out of my room until I finished it. Scary thought!

Haha, I can pretty much guarantee that I will be recluse when these games come out. They will suck up all of my free time! I'm just glad I've got all three systems so I can play the whole series as they've been announced.
