Started but never finished!?

I was just curious to know how many people have started an anime or manga that at first they really liked, couldnt stop talking about it let alone wait for the next episode to come out, but as you keep going you seem to lose interest in the show and then just finally give up, or maybe force yourself to keep watching maybe hoping might get better, or just wanna finish something that you've started.. Like me for example i really liked InuYasha (plz no hate mail) but then for me it would just keep going on IY wanting Kagome or Kikyo, and then the part that got me mad was the endless times that InuYasha would get close to killing Naraku but no dice thus Naraku creating more enemies for InuYasha..

Has this happend to any one else if so what anime or manga and why you stopped watching it?

I have so much material open that I'm not sure what to do myself. I think I figured it out to be about a years worth of material which included me watching that material without me adding more material. It was a gruesome schedule that would include at least watching five hours a day. Unfortunately planning never really seems to work since I'm always starting new material. I was proud to finally get back to finishing code geass r2. Every once in a while I'll sit down and finish some the older series that I wanted to finish.

Congratulations! I know this is a great accomplishment. Plus, you finishing a series usually means that it was awesome. LOL!

LoL, if you'll notice on my MAL account, 300 completed series is just around the corner for me. My new strategy of Buying as much shit as possible seems to be working for getting me to finish series. However, It has also meant that I've been neglecting my digital wonderland. I'm trying to balance the two. As for finishing watching all the movies nominated for the Oscars this Sunday, well my time is running out. I don't think I'm gonna make it. I got my tax return back yesterday and went on an Anime shopathon. I'm so ashamed. But well at least I'm stimulating the Anime industry.

haha. i skipped Bounto seasons (~2seasons) in bleach and the story still made sense. haha. i wiki'd it b4 continuing, but i doubt i missed anything.

hmm.. right now i have One Peice on hold. *Uhhhhhhhhhh!!* i got to ep 72 and gave up. it has defeated me. story line was so slooooooooooooow. freakin 5 eps on how the boat got stuck. it took the crew 55eps to gain their 4th party member. **bangs head on desk** i might pick it back up in a year or two.

That was a very valiant attempt at one piece. I myself have seen two episodes and care the least about that series. On the other hand I have seen all the Bounto episodes and agree that the just really aren't that important. As for me I'm going to turn on Season two of Those who hunt elves and fall asleep.
