When & How Did You Become an Addict

Hello...my name is Clovous and I am an anime addict. Okay...just a quick question when did you first become addicted to anime and what was it that got you hooked. For me, I guess you could say I'm still a newbie. I've only been watching anime for about a year and it all started with Inuyasha on Adult Swim. After that, it was all down hill..or up hill?

I first watched anime on late night Fox 11 I think. Kenshin at like 1 or 2 AM. Then it got canceled from basic TV. = =; Then in high school, I met a someone that introduced me to Lain Serial Experiments. I basically just watched what he watched, until I introduced anime to my sister. We occasionally went to Frank & Sons, the closes collector's swapmeet, until my sister found anime on Netflix. =D Or so I think that's what happened.

something like that. you started my addiction, im supporting our addiction. i fell in love w/ cardcaptors on the afternoon channel ?? programming in like 4th grade. and it was my first anime purchase. (i both both season box sets and both movies)

it may have been Voltron in the '80s... *blushes* is that even anime? now i feel old. then it was Robotech. then Vampire Hunter D. then Akira. then Ghost in the Shell...
now i'm feeding on the newer stuff that some of you were introduced to anime on in the first place.... hmm.. where did i put my cane?

its okay. when me and trixey were lil' mom was addicted to 70's xmen reruns. we looked forward to saturday morning breakfast w/ xmen. is that were it really started?

are you referring to the '66 run called "The Marvel Superheroes" or the '81-'83 "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends" which had a few episodes featuring the X-men or the '89 "Pryde of the X-Men" pilot or the '92-'97 "X-Men (the animated TV series)". you want to talk x-men, we'll talk about x-men. oh, yeah. i'm an addict.

honestly no idea. no other superheros involved. jsut the xmen. i can hum the theme song. hahaha. cant member much else. but i had/have a crush on rogue though.

ack!! thats it!!!!!! what year is this? i was lil' when it was on tv. i never saw the ending. last thing i saw was archangel and apocalypse episode. looking back reminds me of robot chicken's apocalypse ponies. hahahahaha.

why yes. that would be the '92-'97 "X-Men (the animated TV series)". *pushes glasses back up nose* the best ever X-men release to date besides the original comics. this series was actually one of the most watched animated series EVER. The Archangel/Apocalypse story was called, "Come The Apocalypse", and was the 10th episode in the series. However, due to the fanbase of Apocalypse lovers, this show played a lot in re-runs. Apocalypse was an immortal mu.... *notices the horrified look on everyone's faces and shuts up*
